Case study

Rumbo Tours

A landing page for Rumbo Tours Perú that presents its private tours and tailor-made travel services, designed to inspire the trip and make it easy to talk to their team.

The challenge

Rumbo Tours Perú doesn’t sell packages. Every trip is private and designed around the traveler, with a team based in Cusco and Lima. That’s hard to explain on a typical tour catalogue page, where travelers compare prices and itineraries and leave. They needed a site that conveys a boutique, personal service, inspires visitors from abroad to picture their own trip, and turns that interest into a conversation with a travel designer.

What we built

A single, long-scrolling landing page in English, written for international travelers, that tells the story in the order a visitor decides:

  • A full-screen arrival: Machu Picchu in the clouds, a short promise (“Discover the Peru created for you”) and two clear paths: design a journey or explore experiences.
  • Why Peru: history, gastronomy, nature and living culture, each with its own image, to spark the trip before talking about services.
  • Services: private tours, travel design, airport fast pass, private transportation and a travel concierge, each explained in one or two lines.
  • How it works: the travel designer process in four steps, from telling them about the dream trip to enjoying Peru without worries.
  • Signature experiences: gastronomic, cultural, romantic, family, premium and corporate trips, so every type of traveler sees themselves.
  • Trust: why travel with Rumbo Tours, and stories from travelers.
  • Contact everywhere: “Design your journey” stays in the header, and the page closes with WhatsApp and a quote request, the channels travelers actually use.

The visual direction is warm and editorial: cream backgrounds, a deep Andean red for actions, a terracotta accent and Raleway with italic lines for emphasis, so the photography carries the page. Sections reveal as you scroll, and the layout adapts to phones, where most travelers first find the site.

Results

The design is complete and in review with Rumbo Tours; the site is being built for launch.
